Youth With A Mission
In India, your birthplace often determines your life opportunities. Youth With A Mission is committed to providing every child with equal opportunities. They support children of parents suffering from leprosy and children who have lost one or both parents, so that they too can grow up in safety, hope, and dignity.

Project Description
In addition to these two orphanages, Ramchand Saranu is also committed to widows and leprosy sufferers, and he and his team train young people at the YWAM Indore Bible school. YWAM Indore has existed since 1999 and started that year with a training school of 18 students. Now there are hundreds, many of whom have established their own ministries.
Key points

Every child has the right to safety and education.
What does the day look like:
The day begins with prayer and worship, followed by a shared breakfast and getting ready for school. After school, there is time for play and relaxation, after which the children do their homework together. In the evening, they enjoy a typical Indian meal and end the day with Bible reading and prayer.
Project information:
The project is located in the city of Indore, in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India, and is part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Indore. This particular project is led by Ramchand Saranu, who, along with his wife and a dedicated team, cares for the children on a daily basis.
The children who live here are largely from the state of Orissa, an area where Christians have been persecuted for years. Many of these children have lost their parents to violence or have seen their families lose everything, such as their homes, jobs, and security. In close consultation with local communities and through the organization of Ramchand, these children have been placed in Sideras Children Home, where they find safety, peace, and new hope.
In the shelter, they receive loving care, daily food, education, medical assistance, and a safe place to live. Here, they can be children again and build a hopeful future.
In addition to this children's home, Ramchand Saranu also runs a second shelter and is actively involved with widows and children suffering from leprosy. Furthermore, young people are trained at the Bible school, equipping them to bring hope and change to their own communities in turn.
YWAM Indore has existed since 1999. In the same year, the first training school was established with just 18 students. This has since grown into a thriving training center with hundreds of students, many of whom have started their own ministries and are working in various places in India and beyond.
