PROJECT IN India

Youth With A Mission

Ramchand Saranu is the founder of several children's homes in India and is located in the city of Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The children's homes are part of Youth with A Mission Indore. Ramchand Saranu is the contact person for this project. Together with his wife and staff they take care of the children.

Abundant Life Ministries:
Children are cared for here whose parents suffer from the disease leprosy. The children are cared for in the children's home, of YWAM. in this way the children grow up in a healthy living environment. The parents receive structural support such as medication and care.

In India, people with leprosy are often seen as untouchable, do not belong to society and receive no help from the government. The children of leprosy patients automatically get the same stamp and are rejected from an early age, receive no education and thus have no chance to participate in society. By taking the children into the home, in collaboration with the parents, they are taken care of, taught and seen as beautiful individuals who are going to build their future. In this way they can break the poverty cycle for themselves and for their families.

Sahara Ministries:
This children's home takes care of children who no longer have parents or children who come from an extremely poor family. The children are lovingly cared for here and are given the opportunity to go to school. Because the parents are not able to take care of the children, the children are often left alone. The parents then go begging or collect plastic to sell and this creates a worrying situation. Children go looking for their parents anyway and if they are not noticed, no one will know where they are. These children, whose home situation is unsafe, are taken care of by Ramchand and his team. The children can go back to school, have structure and belong to a large family with friends and have hope for the future!

School desk
Hope4hope, one of our projects in Kenya, miraculously has a school building at its disposal. Children from the neighborhood who cannot go to school can still receive education! In addition to the building, they obviously need much more to start the school. https://youtu.be/vyvjJr0Yhcw?si=ARdX8FtGLPtxnSTn

Soccer shoes
A poor family in Africa often does not have enough money to send their child(ren) to school. Therefore, they will soon "force" their daughters to marry early so that they are taken care of. For these young women there is no chance to learn and build on their qualities and gifts. Hope4hope in Kenya has decided to include these young women in the football trajectory. In this way they can build on their qualities and limits and also look up and indicate these. In this way they make themselves more resilient and they are stronger in society. There is such great enthusiasm that unfortunately there is always a shortage of football boots, balls and clothing. Especially the shoes wear out quickly and playing football barefoot causes the necessary injuries. These girls are very happy with their own pair of shoes! It gives them the chance to fight, train and get stronger in the game. you see the girls liven up day by day. Sometimes they are on the field before dawn and can't wait to get started. Will you help with a new set of football boots? You have no idea how grateful they are to you!
