What does the day look like:

The day begins early: from five to six in the morning, the children gather for a communal morning prayer. Afterward, they wash and dress, after which they have a communal breakfast at seven o'clock. Between eight and nine, there is time for studying and preparing for the school day. Subsequently, the children attend school until twelve o'clock.

At twelve o'clock, they have a one-hour lunch break, after which classes resume at one o'clock and continue until four in the afternoon. After school, there is time for relaxation and playing together. At the end of the afternoon, all the children gather again for a communal prayer, followed by dinner.

From eight to nine o'clock, there is still time to do homework. After that, the day is over, and the children go to bed so they can start a new day rested.

Project information:

Fisherman Home is established by Ramesh, an evangelist with a huge passion for the underprivileged in society. The project is located in a small coastal village, where families often live far from society. The men of these families fish during the day and at night to generate income. Because the catch is often meager and the costs for boats and nets are high, it is difficult to make ends meet. Ramesh and his team support the families with education in sustainable maintenance of boats and nets and ensure that not all profit is spent on repairs. In addition, the children receive education, so that the next generation is literate and has better opportunities for work and a future.

The support provides children with food, education and school supplies, housing, and medical care. This gives them a hopeful future outlook and the chance to achieve their dreams.actually.
