Teja Sankarapu

Teja enjoys going to school and likes to play with the other children.

When Teja was one year old, his father passed away. His mother then temporarily placed him with his grandmother. Not long after, she left, along with other women from the village, to look for work elsewhere and earn money. Unfortunately, she never returned. Nothing has been heard from her since.

Teja’s grandmother, now advanced in age, was unable to adequately care for him. She lacked the resources to provide him with enough food and a safe living environment. Out of concern for his well-being, she ultimately asked the team to admit Teja to the orphanage so he would not become ill or malnourished.

Thanks to this shelter, Teja can now grow up safely, go to school, and build a hopeful future step by step. Since his exact date of birth is unknown, it has been estimated as 01-01-2010.
