What does the day look like:
The children wake up early to get ready for school and eat breakfast.
Around half past two, the children return from school. In the afternoon, there's time for homework, relaxation, and play. The day concludes with a communal dinner and a moment of prayer. Afterward, there's still an opportunity to do some more homework.
Project information:
The project in Myanmar is located in Yangon. It concerns an orphanage where over 30 children currently live. The orphanage is part of Win Myanmar Mission, an organization founded in 2003 by Pastor Dr. Philip Thang. The organization focuses on reaching and supporting people in vulnerable circumstances in Myanmar.
The goal of the orphanage is to provide children with a safe and loving home where they can recover from traumatic experiences and develop into strong, independent young people.
Thanks to support, they receive daily food, education, schooling and educational materials, housing, and medical care. This gives the children the chance to grow up in safety and to build a hopeful future where their dreams can come true.
