Felicia's father fled after he heard Blessing was pregnant. Blessing is half an orphan: her mother died when she was young, and her father is an alcoholic, making it impossible for him to care for her and her daughter.
After giving birth, Blessing wanted to return to school, but she had no one to look after Felicia. Thanks to Esther Home, she can now care for her child and prepare to resume her education as soon as possible.
