Our students

Project Held has existed for about 15 years. Fifteen years during which we've been able to welcome, protect, guide, and help children grow. Children who once arrived small and vulnerable are today at the beginning of a new chapter: their studies and future.

Where they once primarily dreamed of safety, education, and opportunity, we now see those dreams becoming a reality. Many of our young people are pursuing vocational training, taking courses, or have found local jobs. And a growing number are even getting to continue their studies at universities and colleges. That is something to be incredibly grateful for.

Studying: a great opportunity, but also a great investment

For our students, studying represents a huge step towards independence and a stable future. A diploma increases their chances of employment, income, and a life free from poverty. But this step also requires a lot. Studying incurs costs that pose a significant challenge for our projects:

a laptop
Textbooks and writing materials
Tuition
*rent a room (often far from home)
*clothing, sometimes a neat suit or uniform
*daily necessities

These investments are substantial. In addition, our projects must also provide food, housing, medical care, and education for dozens of other children.

    We say yes!

We believe that these young people, in particular, are the ones who can make a difference. Young people with a passion for medicine, law, technology, education, or healthcare. Young people who will one day be able to help others themselves.

That is why we at Project Held want to make a conscious effort to invest in students who are motivated and truly committed. Young people who demonstrate that they take their opportunities seriously and want to use their talents to build a better future for themselves and their community.

Will you help make their dreams come true?

Would you like to help turn a child with no opportunities into a medical, law, or engineering student? Then let’s finish together what we started 15 years ago.
