Held@Home still goes to school every week with children who do not yet know the Dutch language very well. In the meantime, the children are completely used to Held@Home and they are completely familiar with the parts that we practice with them.

However, this week was a little different from the other times. It was a birthday! And who's birthday treats.
The children have been working hard on language and spelling all morning. And the children were taught in turn about new letters and new spelling rules. After the break in which they learned elastics, it was time to hand out.

The kids in this class have been asking for markers for a while now. At school, the markers have run out and currently only pencils are used, but they prefer to color with markers. When handing out the presents, they all had their eyes closed and as soon as the treat was placed on their table, they felt the package to see if they could guess what it was.
Quite difficult if you want to guess what it is by feel, but some children were right. After they could all open their eyes right away, they were very happy, Stiften!

From now on they can also color with markers. Each their own set. They also got some snacks for in between.
And to top it off, we also got a gift! The most beautiful bunch of flowers ever! So sweet that they all made their own flower with a congratulation greeting. This made the day even more beautiful than it already was!
