As in any school, the children are occasionally tested on the material they have learned. They call it tests at the school where Held@Home helps every week.
It is checked what the children still know about the learned material from the past period. Each child is tested on the various subjects such as math, vocabulary, reading comprehension and spelling. After that, it is checked whether the child can move to the next level or is even ready to participate in the regular schools.

Quite exciting at times, but the children are generally sure of what they have learned.
After taking a number of tests, where the other children could continue working in their workbooks and on the computer, it was time to relax. Fine motor skills were equally well tested. Because pricking with a skewer to get a chick or egg requires quite a lot of patience and skill. Then sticking some more and voila, what beautiful and cheerful colors are hanging in the classroom.
