Unfortunately, we have all been saddled with the consequences of Covid-19 for more than 2 years. This applies to our children's homes, our projects, but also to various groups in our society in our own country. Last year, this created Held@Home, in which we wanted to encourage certain groups of people in our society with a small gesture and/or help. Consider a nursing home or a school with refugee children.

Now that the infection rates are higher than ever and especially these groups, such as the elderly and children, are most affected by this, we thought it was time to lend a helping hand again.
Unfortunately, the nursing home where we helped last year has just passed through a source of infection, which means that the residents have to isolate themselves and loneliness is playing up again. Yet with mouth caps and an appropriate distance, we were able to help decorate and place the Christmas trees.
We were welcomed with open arms and after a delicious cup of coffee we focused on making the passage and reception area of the elderly center cozy. It is painful to see how quiet it is and the residents are forced to stay in their homes instead of being able to eat together or play a game. Nevertheless, we hope to bring in some fun and cheerfulness with cozy Christmas music, lights and beautifully colored balls.
What a joy it brings every time to be able to give so much warmth and love with a little help. Together we hope that this period of Corona will soon be behind us so that the residents can eat together, celebrate parties and drink coffee.
