Ronald Roro is an inspiring example of what love, opportunity, and perseverance can mean in a child's life.

In 2012, Ronald joined Hope for Hope through the Elimika education program. During his school years, he was known as a quiet, disciplined boy with great perseverance. In addition to his involvement with the Hope Rangers Football Club, where he was a reliable second on the field, he discovered his true passion early on: cooking.

As a boy, Ronald could often be found in the center's kitchen, where his interest in food and cooking grew steadily. With the support of Hope for Hope, Project Held, and loyal sponsors, he was given the opportunity to further develop his talent and pursue a culinary arts education.

Today, Ronald works as a professional chef, passionately preparing meals for the children at the center. This brings his story full circle in a special way: from a sponsored child to a professional who is now giving back to the community where he grew up.

Ronald's story shows that sponsorship is much more than just practical help. It gives children the opportunity to discover their talents, pursue dreams, and build a future full of hope and opportunity.
