Missiontrip Kosovo
|
|
From 15th-22nd of July we went to Kosovo with a team of 9 people. We look back on a very beautiful and special journey in which we were able to encourage and help a lot of people. We have supported the local church by sharing our testimonies, evangelizing, and financially blessings. After church we visited a family, where at least 40 children from Roma families had gathered.

We shared a beautiful children's story about self-esteem and had a water balloon fight and various games. In addition, we had a wonderful afternoon with children sponsored by Project Held, where we were allowed to hand out many children's toys. Love to see all those happy faces!

We talked to a father of one of the children and asked him about his dream. He desperately wanted a chainsaw so he could start sawing wood to sell it. Some of our team went with him the next day to buy a chainsaw, he was overjoyed!
|
|
He is going to use this together with 2 other men, so 3 families have been helped with this. Wonderful to be able to help in such a practical way and to make a difference for these wonderful people.

We also were allowed to visit many families and the elderly at home. These are people who are very lonely and have almost no money. we have heard really hard stories. We gave them a food package and prayed for them.

|
In one of the last days we came in the home of an older couple, very sweet people who had already experienced so much misery in their lives… The man has had throat cancer and now literally has a hole in his throat and can no longer speak. He is so very sad and frustrated that he can no longer speak that we are going to investigate how we can help him.
|
|
|
|
This beautiful couple have to live of €100 p.m. They are very poor. We are eager to help them and have included them in our sponsorship program.
