Sponsor meets sponsor child

Last September, a sponsor was able to meet his sponsor child in Uganda for the first time. It was a very special and emotional meeting that left a deep impression on both sponsor and sponsor child. Read the story of their meeting here.

Evangelizing in Mozambique
|
|
|
|
Every week a team led by Corrie Ockhuysen will evangelize around the rubbish dump in Maputo. Corrie then takes a number of children from the children's home with her. At least 200 children come here! A Bible story is told by one of the older children, they pray with the children, then games are played and all children receive a nice bag of chips.

Kindergarten farewell party

|
|
The smallest children in the children's home in Mozambique celebrated a farewell party from the kindergarten. The children were allowed to show what they had already learned, now they know the full names of all presidents so far. We are very proud of all the teachers who have committed to all these beautiful children. Every child received a certificate, it was a real party!

Update situation in Myanmar
|
|
Unfortunately, the political situation in Myanmar is not improving. Terrorists kill civilians and burn houses. There is a lack of food and shelter. Many children have fled to the jungle or to other safe places. A harrowing situation in which entire families are often torn apart. Fortunately, we can report that the children who are cared for in "our" children's home, Win Myanmar Mission, are safe. But the situation in Myanmar is very worrying, we ask your prayers for this situation.

Help for poor family in Kosovo
|
|
In October we went to Kosovo and visited an extremely poor family there, at the moment the parents are renting a house where they live with their 4 children. It is extremely cold, many windows have been broken and there is a terrible draught. We would love to help these children so that they can go to school on their way to a better future. Christmas for everyone

You should have received a Christmas card from Project Held through the mailbox and you received an email from us last week regarding Christmas. We are happy to see that many sponsors have already sent a digital letter for their sponsor child and have given a Christmas gift. Of course we want to delight ALL children with a delicious meal and a gift for Christmas.
