Daily care centre project Kosovo

Founding de Brug has started a new living room project in Gjakova in Kosovo. Lonely, elderly people are lovingly cared for here three times a week. They are served a delicious, healthy meal and experience a lot of fun. So hugely important for these valuable people! Thanks to a nice donation, Project Held can contribute financially to this wonderful initiative.

In Kosovo it can get very cold in the winter, many elderly people do not have money for wood, so they are often left in the cold. In our Online store you can buy wood for an older person, so that he/she is warm this winter. You can donate wood trough the button below.

Youth School in Uganda
|
|
In February 2024, Project Held, in collaboration with Mto Moyoni (River in the heart), will organize a Father Heart youth school in Jinja, Uganda. 25 young adults (18+) who live in 3 of our children's homes in Uganda and Kenya are given the opportunity to participate in this two-week school. Here the young people will learn who God is as Father to them, they will receive inner healing and they will exchange the heart of an orphan for the heart of a son or daughter. We are very much looking forward to what God will do in the lives of these young people, so that they can pass this on to the children in the children's homes where they live.

We would like to take all 25 young people with us! Participation for 1 person, including meals, sleeping place and education is €195. Update new app

It's been over a month since we launched our new app and we hope you're satisfied. At the moment, we see that about half of our sponsors use the app. Of course, we want everyone to start using the app. It is a wonderful way to get more involved and to have contact with your sponsor child in an easy way.

We hear a lot of enthusiastic stories from sponsors who have started using the app! Photos and videos will regularly be posted here about the ins and outs of the children's home where you support a child.
