My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.

We're going on a mission trip again!

Now that Corona has faded into the background a bit, we have decided to go on a mission trip to Kosovo again. From July 15th to July 22nd, Project Held organizes in collaboration with The International Brug Foundation made a trip to Gjakova, Kosovo.

We have been there several times with a team and each time we have been impressed by what God was doing through the team. Together we will search for God's heart for the world. Many people there were affected by the war in 1999.
Many men/fathers died and the families were left defeated. We see it happening now in the Ukraine, the devastation and sadness is enormous... Even now, years later, the war from then is still visible and there is still a lot of poverty and sadness among the population. With a team we will visit and encourage families, the elderly and churches and we will do various outreaches. Do you also want to be the hands and feet of Jesus during this journey sign up now! Uganda Pioneer Tour

A small team from Project Held went to Uganda for a week in February to visit the Foodstep children's home in Uganda. A visit with the aim of possibly working together.
This children's home takes care of, among other things, children who come out of the children's prison and stay here in appalling conditions. Children without parents and often quite traumatized.
Foodstep
Thanks to Foodstep, dozens of children have already been transferred to the orphanage where they can work on their recovery, receive love and learn that they are valuable and loved.
In short, a special place that offers a home to many children. After this special week, Project Held has decided to work with Foodstep and we will actively look for sponsors for all these beautiful children.
You can support one of these children through this link!

Solarsystem in Kenya

Thanks to a great gift from a sponsor of Project Held, a dream come true for the Esther Home in Kenya. The Esther Home takes care of teenage girls who sometimes became pregnant at the age of 14, often through abuse. They have a dream to be completely self-sufficient, including installing a solar system. Thanks to this generous gift, they can now have solar panels installed, which is hugely cost-effective in sunny Kenya. They are extremely grateful for the fact that this is now being made possible and it has helped immensely!
