"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. The one who is humble like this little child is the greatest in the holy nation of heaven. Whoever receives a little child in My name receives Me."
and said, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me."

🌱 Leper Colony: Almost a Year Later

In February 2025, we traveled to India with a small, dedicated team to visit our children's homes. During this special trip, we also had the opportunity to visit a slum area, where we were able to distribute warm meals to people in great need.
One of the most impactful moments was meeting a large group of people living in a leprosy colony. We distributed food packages and clothing and were deeply moved by the immense suffering of these people, who have been rejected by society and are considered untouchable.
After this trip, we decided to support this leprosy colony on a structural basis. Every month they now receive a food package, and a nutritious meal is prepared for them daily. We were also able to provide tables and chairs so they can eat and spend time together.

Feel free to watch the short video of our trip to get an impression of these special encounters.👉

Meet Gideon

Gideon is an eight-year-old boy who was born with a muscular condition that makes walking very difficult for him. As a result, he was unable to attend school for a long time. He lives with his mother and brothers in a small village in Kenya, where the family faces serious financial hardship. His mother contacted Hope4Hope to ask if we could help Gideon so that he could go to school. In the meantime, Gideon has received leg braces, and a special toilet has been built at his school so that he can use the restroom safely and independently.

Gideon is still looking for a sponsor. Would you like to support him on a monthly basis? Please click the link. 👇🏽

Gideon Omondi

Gideon dreams of walking on his own, going to school for the first time, and playing freely with other children—experiences he hasn't had yet because of his condition. While other children his age go to school and play together, Gideon watches from the sidelines, longing to be part of that world. His biggest…

Iris Ministries Sudan/Uganda Highlighted

Iris Ministries South Sudan/Uganda is one of our projects, and we've supported it with love and dedication from the very beginning. Yet, many people, even some sponsors, don't know the backstory.

We recently received a beautiful video from Carolyn, our contact person at the orphanage in Uganda. Curious about their work? Watch the video below.👇🏽

Meeting Corrie from Mozambique

Corrie, our contact person from Mozambique, is currently on vacation in the Netherlands. Of course, we wanted to meet with her and catch up on everything that is happening at the children’s home in Mozambique.
With her humor, down-to-earth outlook, and immense love for the children, Corrie has been running the center in Mozambique for decades. The children she cares for are often ill and have AIDS, but with the right care and guidance, they recover physically and mentally and regain perspective. Life and the future in Mozambique are uncertain due to high unemployment and limited healthcare.

Corrie will therefore continue to support the children for as long as necessary, with the help of others. Project Held supports her work by helping over 40 children every month thanks to our sponsors. Help is always welcome, and Corrie also enjoys receiving visitors. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected]; we're happy to answer them.

Testimony Youth School

For several years now, we have been offering young people in Uganda the opportunity to participate in a Father Heart Youth School. This school is specifically for young people who no longer have parents, or whose parents are unable to care for them.
During these two weeks, the young people receive instruction on God's love. They learn that they are not alone and are encouraged to discover their identity and self-worth. We received a moving testimony from one of the young people who attended this school last month:
"My name is Lochap, and I am extremely grateful that I was given the opportunity to take part in this life-changing school. Here I learned that I am a beloved child of God, that His love is like a flowing river and never stops flowing. I was able to make new friends and learned that there is always hope. Even though I grew up as an orphan, I am not an orphan, because God the Father is both Father and Mother to me, and I am His child."

Thank you so much for reading this newsletter and for your commitment. Together we can make a difference in many lives around the world. Not just a drop in the ocean, but one-by-one victories that matter.
