Dear reader,

You will receive the Project Held newsletter with updates from the field. Each time, we highlight one or more of our projects with an event or activity. Enjoy reading!.

Our beloved Hatta has passed away.

Hatta is part of Project Held's sponsorship program and has passed away at her cottage in northern Albania at the age of 87. This strong and very special woman lived in a small and shabby house in the middle of nowhere. She was very lonely and always looked forward to the weekly visit of the team from the Brug. It was the highlight of the week for her. Every week she received a food package that she could use again for a while. On our travels to Kosovo, our team always paid a visit to this special woman, and we were allowed to sing for her and bless her. She always enjoyed this to the fullest.

Last Friday, the Brug team visited her again but discovered she had passed away, an intensely sad moment. In July, we will go to Kosovo again with a team, and we had planned to visit her again. Hatta will be missed...

Playground in India

In India, we support a number of Youth With A Mission children's homes. The team there, led by Ramchand, also provided aid in the slums. They do this by handing out food and sharing the Gospel. Last year, they started building a school in one of the slums to break the cycle of poverty. It's a fantastic project, and construction is almost finished.
One of our loyal sponsors has given a wonderful gift to set up a playground for the children. Ramchand is very happy with this and will soon have the playground installed. We hope for many hours of fun for the children!

A whole village happy

A water pump was donated through our webshop last week, which helped an entire village in India. What an impact this has on so many people!

For only €900, you can purchase a water pump for a village in India through our webshop. https://projectheld.nl/webshop/. In addition, it is also possible to donate a sewing machine, food packages, tools, and soccer shoes to one of our children's homes. You make the difference!

Our youngest child, Patrick Ssubi, is looking for a sponsor.

Patrick's mother has a mental disability and became pregnant at the age of 17 by an unknown father. Since she was unable to care for Patrick properly, both she and Patrick were cared for by Foodstep. Patrick's grandmother lived in the house with them and was unable to physically handle the care of Patrick and his mother. Patrick was 4...
