Since our founding in 2007, our heart has remained unchanged: we want to make a difference in the lives of children, youth and widows living in poverty, insecurity or without a safety net. All over the world, from India to Africa, from Kosovo to Mozambique, we encounter stories of people suffering the effects of war, disease, social injustice or extreme poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What began with a desire to respond to God's call to care for orphans, widows and the poor has grown into a practical, loving movement of help. Project Hero seeks not to look away, but to dwell on the one child and person in need of help. Our slogan says it all: Stop for the one<\/em> - Be a hero because every life counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We believe that every person, regardless of origin, background or circumstances, has a right to safety, development and hope. And precisely where that hope seems to have disappeared, we try to make a difference. We do this together with sponsors, donors and local partners, through four main areas of focus: assistance in nutrition and care, education, spiritual support and future-oriented guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This policy plan tells you how we work, what we stand for and where we want to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you for your interest and involvement, together we are building hope for those who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
