Her father struggled with alcoholism, and her home environment was unsafe and unstable. For a time, Blessing was allowed to stay with a teacher, but unfortunately a family friend took advantage of her situation, causing her to become pregnant. After this, the teacher refused to take her in any longer.<\/p>\n<p>A compassionate person brought her to Esther Home, where she now has a safe place to live. Here she can prepare for the birth of her baby and later care for her child. When possible again, Blessing will go back to school to finish her education while her baby is cared for at Esther Home.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to sponsorship, Blessing can get the support she needs for prenatal care and the care of her baby.
