He now lives in a safe environment where he receives the care he needs, eats well, and can go to school.<\/p>\n<p>David was born with HIV and has had many health problems in the past. His mother passed away and his father is unknown, so he initially lived with his grandmother. He is small for his age and has hearing problems, for which he receives medical care.<\/p>\n<p>David is learning Portuguese to express himself better and is now in the fifth grade of primary school, where he is achieving good results. He is calm by nature and very helpful. He was recently baptized and looks forward to visiting his grandmother again during the summer vacation.
