Milton is a calm boy who adapts quickly. Milton came along with his younger brother Zeca. The boys have been abandoned, first by the mother and later also by the father. They took care of themselves for years and slept in a dilapidated house belonging to the father. One day Miltons walked to his father's work. But after hours and hours of walking, things came to nothing. Zeca and Milton ate what they “found” in the vegetable garden of others. For some time a woman from the neighborhood took some care of them. Because she did not really have the opportunity to help them further, she called in social work. We went to pick them up about 30 km from here through bumpy dirt roads and puddles that are way too deep. We saw a lot of poverty along the way and dilapidated houses made of clay. Milton looks healthy despite everything and is happy to be with us. We pray for a good future for the two brothers.

We deliberately do not have a CBF quality mark. However, we do meet a number of important conditions of this quality mark. One of the reasons that we do not have this quality mark is the costs that are charged for this; this would significantly increase our overhead costs. We prefer to spend this money on the projects we support.
